Still using Print Screen for taking screenshots in Vista ? 
Why not use Snipping Tool 
In your Vista Desktop Go to Start Menu and type snipping in the Search box
Click on the Snipping Tool shown in the results and you get the Snipping Tool app 
Now you could choose the options in the drop down menu of New to capture
It doesnt get over here . You could save your file in Jpeg/PNG/Bitmap and send it as email or as an attachment in your email
And there is also option to write upon the image using the Pen tool and its highly customizable
I never knew this tool was included in Vista until I did a google search !
