The Security Center in Vista is much improved and also gives details on what security applications we have installed and the status of those applications, whether they are running properly, any update required.
They have also added Internet Security Settings.
And If at all there is any security failure, you have the option of automatically allowing Windows to update the settings for you 
Looks like Kaspersky have to pay you some money for putting their name here
