October 4th, we saw openSUSE release their most expected 10.3 release and it has lived up to its expectations and got some good reviews around the Linux Community.
Now its time to welcome Gutsy
I am currently downloading Gutsy and soon will post about it in my blog. It will be nice to see how beautiful Gutsy is when compared to openSUSE 10.3 beauty
I was surprised to see a mail yesterday in my department mailbox

I have put ISO images for the RC release of Ubuntu Linux 7.10 on babble (a.k.a oucs799) for anyone interested. The RC is pretty much what they plan to release, there may be some last minute updates that come out afterwards, however these will show up once it’s installed anyway. They are in the /scratch folder. Currently there is i386 desktop (this is the live CD) , i386 alternate (for upgrading or special installs) andamd64 alternate
