If you want to navigate to different tabs(files) opened or previous tab opened inside Visual Studio, we use Ctrl+Tab, similar to Alt+Tab from our Windows Desktop.

This feature has been refined and made to look really good in Visual Studio 2008 😀

It now shows previews too 😉

While it looks pretty, I find this features totally useless. Worse, it makes my system chug when it comes up and when I scroll through the list. This totally cripples me. Is there an option to turn this off?

Performance first, pretty eye candy second. I’m trying to write code here!

Hi Santoki, strange. I use Visual Studio all the day here and have never seen sluggishness in this feature. There is nothing high end graphics which might pull your system down, lol. Have you checked any other possibilities? And also I have atleast 3 VS 2008 opened up at any time.
