Many using Vista would not be aware of this feature as its not enabled by default in Vista’s Windows Explorer. This is one of the excellent features that once you use it, you may end up using it all the time 😀
So, what is this Preview Pane ? – Yes, you guessed it, its used to preview your contents 😉
Though the Start Menu structure is similar to that of XP, there are good enhancements in Vista and the most notable is the search bar.
We are familiar with the network icon in XP that sits in our taskbar and shows the network activity.
In Vista, it gets even better 🙂
I really like this feature as it eases the pain regarding what is wrong with your network and why aren’t you able to browse the local network or Internet or why the network is down.
I am writing here because this has worked for me whenever I had problems with my network or adapter and it works most of the time 😉 [success rate – 95% 😀 ]
To start with, you need to have a problem with your LAN connection or modem or any other connection 😉
The Security Center in Vista is much improved and also gives details on what security applications we have installed and the status of those applications, whether they are running properly, any update required.
